We are Saifullah & Amanda – the husband and wife team behind ShopShip. We are originally from Malaysia and have been resident in London for a total of 8 years now.
ShopShip came about on a November evening, during one of our lengthy dinner discussions. We are always looking for opportunities to bring the best pieces of the UK back home. After identifying an overwhelming demand for products available in the UK market by consumers back home in Malaysia, we jumped at the chance. ShopShip was born!
The concept behind ShopShip is very simple. It allows consumers all over the world, not just in Malaysia, to purchase anything available to UK residents and have them shipped to their doorstep using one swift service. We, the founders, have placed a heavy emphasis on convenience, efficiency, cost-effectiveness and simplicity. The result is a service that takes seconds to understand and just minutes to use.
We wouldn’t create a service that we wouldn’t use ourselves. When we’re back in Malaysia for long stretches over the holidays, we find ourselves missing the little everyday products available to us here in London. If only there was a simple service that could bring us everything we’ve grown used to, for a small price. ShopShip fills that void perfectly.
